• Mike Ferrara (1978–1981): While at Colgate, Ferrara was a two-time All-America East selection and the 1981 America East Player of the Year. His accomplishments caught the attention of the Washington Bullets (now the Wizards), but an injury prevented him from pursuing an NBA career. 

• Tucker Neale (1992–1995): The Patriot League 1994 Player of the Year, tournament MVP, and current career scoring average record holder, there’s no doubt Tucker Neale had a significant impact while at Colgate. He went on to average 30 points per game in the international leagues.

• Adonal Foyle (1994–1997): Colgate’s all-time leading rebounder and 2nd all-time leading scorer, Foyle was drafted 8th overall by the Golden State Warriors in 1997. During his 13-year NBA career, he was a shot-blocking specialist. His number (31) has since been retired by the Raiders.

• Murphy Burnatowski (2011–2014): Burnatowski, a 6’ 7” power forward, was lauded for his versatility. He made significant contributions to his squad’s success, and after college, played in the international leagues before becoming an assistant coach at Dalhousie University.

• Jordan Swopshire (2016–2018): At Colgate, Jordan Swopshire, another 6’ 7” power forward, was a key contributor on both ends of the court. After spending a year in the NBA’s G League, playing for the Miami Heat’s minor league team, he moved on to the international leagues.
